Burundi has more than 830,000 orphans living in extreme poverty, more than 10% of the population.
Often left to fend for themselves, these children have no access to health or education. The primary school enrollment rate is 74%, that of vulnerable children is 20%.
AMADE Burundi, which has given itself the mission of promoting child protection and economic self-promotion for vulnerable households, has been involved since its creation in access to education for orphans and vulnerable children.
THE OPERATION: DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL KITS FOR ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN (OVC) IN BURUNDI
We invite you to offer a child “ OVC ” the tools necessary to continue their studies. Thanks to a contribution of 5 €, you provide a child with a complete kit: notebooks, pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener, mathematical tools meeting the needs of each age group (primary and secondary).

ARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM
I am in 6th year. I study thanks to the contributions of AMADE and our solidarity group. This year I received school materials and uniforms. I thank very much the members of the solidarity groups and AMADE BURUNDI who helps them. In the 1st trimester I got 8th place and during this 2nd trimester I was 6th. At the end of my studies, I would like to be a doctor to look after children and mothers .
